Helen Daniell

Founder & CEO

Helen is a dynamic, experienced “straight-shooter” whose experience in starting and managing practices formed a love of helping physicians realize their goals. Helen began her healthcare career journey in clinical medicine at the The Emory Clinic where she worked as an administrator. She continued in hospital administration until 2008 when she took over as Practice Manager at Mark Codner, MD Plastic Surgery. There she discovered her love of practice management and establishing well-managed, well equipped, well-staffed practices. Her goal is to listen first and work with the physician to strategically plan and execute the practice that everyone wants as a physician, team member and patient!

Her expertise encompasses all areas of practice management, from financial management and operational efficiency to leadership and governance, including team creation, development, and reputation management. Her experience covers sales, hospital policy, practice start-up, and strategic planning. As a speaker for ASAP and SESPRS on the business of plastic surgery, she is acutely aware of the lack of business education given to new physicians as part of their training. As a business owner, this education is key! Helen enjoys working with the physician to increase their productivity, clinic flow, and earning potential while creating the desired work/life balance. Training a dynamic, professional team is her passion!

She has a B.S. from Emory University. She has served on several non-profit boards and started 2 non-profit companies while acting as  Practice Manager for Mark Codner, MD. When not working with and advising surgeons, she enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children and 2 rescue dogs.
